In the winter of 1995 and spring of 1996, a few horsemen had an idea. Twenty years later, the CRCA is a thriving reined cow horse organization because of it. Without the commitment and endless dedication of Darren Miller, Jim Cook and Tim Unzicker, the CRCA would not be where it is today, and possibly, would not be in existence at all. Their individual efforts deserve a permanent place in CRCA’s history with their induction into our Hall of Fame.

Diggers Rest has made a profound impact on the CRCA. This stallion enjoyed a 17 year show career with Darren Miller aboard, winning many national titles in reining and working cowhorse events. His offspring have earned over $550,000 in reining, working cow horse, cutting, barrel racing, roping and team sorting events. His genetics are found in many of the horses shown in Colorado today. He was recently ranked 47th on the All Time Leading Reined Cow Horse Sires list.
We are saddened to announce Digger's passing just 9 months after his induction.
